Distributes a percentage of assets outside of the operating budget of the congregation that will enable the further 

growth of our church, its ministries and stewardship opportunities.

MISSION STATEMENT: To maintain a trust fund to provide for mission

work beyond the operational budget of this congregation. To provide annual

distributions beyond the operating budge of this congregation that will enable

the further growth of our church, its ministries and stewardship opportunities.

If you feel you have a project that fits the mission of the Trust Fund, please print and complete a request form for consideration. The Committee meets quarterly to review requests. Forms can be printed and submitted in hard copy or filled out digitally and emailed.

MEETINGS:

2nd Monday of the month, quarterly each year, or as needed to act on requests or other business.

Responsibilities:

To determine how the fund assets will be invested, including the asset

allocation. (Advisor: Stephanie Fiedler, Business & Estate Advisors)

To maintain a high degree of communication with the congregation,

council and other organizations within the church and community to

nurture the total life and mission of the church and of the fund.

To encourage gifts to the fund through education and promotion

and to receive and celebrate gifts given for ministry through the Trust.

Also, to accept undesignated gifts received by this congregation.

To respond to congregation request, under an unforeseen emergency.

To help the congregation rectify an economically devastating situation.

To make annual distributions according to the guidelines given in the

appendix of the Bethany Trust Fund.

Election of committee: 

The congregation elects committee members at the

annual meeting from nominations made by Bethany Council. Terms are 3 years

with the option of a second 3 year term. Trust Fund committee members may not

serve concurrently on the congregaton council.
