Bethany Lutheran Lenten Worship Series 2010

The greatest adventure of life is learning to live as people of God with purpose and direction to meet everyday challenges. Using God's Word and the life of David we will explore various aspects of the adventure on weekends and Wednesdays in the season of Lent at Bethany. There is the quest itself, equipment for the journey, training, a guide, the recognition of danger, companions along the journey, rations, testing and arrival. We share this adventure with all and give thanks to God for those who serve our community each day! All are welcome to come!

Weekend Worship:
Saturdays at 5:30 p.m.
Sundays at 8:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

Midweek Lenten Services:
Wednesday Worship at 12:00 p.m. (noon)
Holden Evening Prayer Worship at 6:15 p.m.

Soup and Sandwich meal in the Fellowship Hall following the Noon service and at 5:15 p.m. preceding the evening service.

 

 

Need a lift to church?

Ride the Martin Looper!

Bethany's bus, the Martin Looper, runs
every Sunday for the 10:30 a.m. service
for anyone who needs a ride to and from
the church and lives within the city of
Rice Lake. We pick up at private homes,
nursing homes and assisted living centers.
The route is started at 9:15 a.m. in order to have
everyone to church by 10:15 a.m., to return home
after the service concludes.

For Lenten midweek services, the bus 
runs for the noon services.
The route is started at 11:00 a.m. in order to have
everyone to church by 11:50 a.m. Riders will be
returned home after the lunch following the service.

The bus will also run for the noon service
on Maundy Thursday and for the 10:30
a.m. service on Easter Sunday.

The Martin Looper is available for other
Bethany events as well, but it must be
scheduled in advance so a driver can
be lined up.

If you are interested in riding
the Martin Looper, just call the
church office at 234-9028 or
speak to one of the pastors. Be
sure to give your name, phone 
number, address and any other 
pertinent information. We will 
contact the drivers so you may 
be added to the pickup list.
